Types of Oranges

Ahmed Ali Co. exports high-quality Egyptian oranges, known for their rich taste, high juice content, and long shelf life. We offer the following varieties:

1. Valencia Oranges

  • Best for juicing due to high juice content.
  • Medium to large size with thin skin.
  • Harvest season: December – June.

2. Navel Oranges

  • Sweet and seedless, ideal for fresh consumption.
  • Easily recognizable by the small "navel" at the blossom end.
  • Harvest season: November – March.

3. Baladi Oranges

  • Multipurpose variety for both juicing and fresh consumption.
  • Slightly thinner skin with a strong citrus aroma.
  • Harvest season: December – April.

4. Sukkari Oranges

  • Extra sweet with a low acidity level.
  • Soft skin, making it easy to peel and eat fresh.
  • Harvest season: December – March.

  • Size Range: 48, 56, 64, 72, 80, 88, 100, 113, 125 (count per 15 kg carton).
  • Brix (Sugar Content): 10.5% – 12.5%.
  • Juice Content: 50% – 55%.
  • Color: Bright orange with minimal blemishes.
  • Shelf Life: 90 – 120 days under proper storage conditions.
  • Storage Temperature: +3°C to +5°C with 90% – 95% relative humidity.
